Observation end time: 17:00:00
Total observation time: 11.25 hours

Official Counter: Cameron Cox

Observers:

Weather:
Very light northerly winds all day. Mostly sunny skies and temps in the mid
to high 60's.

Raptor Observations:
Another day primarily made up of Accipiters. Today was our first big hit of
Cooper's Hawks and they almost outnumbered Sharp-shinned. The big news was
an immature Golden Eagle that flew right over the platform, circled the
Lighthouse, and headed back north.

Non-raptor Observations:
More and more late fall and winter species arriving. Red-breasted Nuthatch,
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, and Dark-eyed Junco today. There was a fair
selection of warblers and an Eastern Wood-Pewee near the platform. One of
several Eurasian Wigeon that are in the Cape May area was around in the
morning

Predictions:
Light northerly winds are projected for at least the beginning of the day.
It could be a third good day in a row.
