While the morning began chilly it soon warmed to the low 60's. For much of the day we had perfect hawkwatching skies, a high dusting of clouds. Raptor Observations: Bald Eagles and Northern Harriers both had better than average days, everything else was fairly slow. Non-raptor Observations: A Cattle Egret, a calling Virginia Rail, and several Purple Finches were highlights. Predictions: Light east winds and warmer temperatures are predicted. It likely will be quite slow ======================================================================== Report submitted by Cameron Cox (Kumlieni@gmail.com) Cape May information may be found at: http://BirdCapeMay.org
