The winds were light to moderate out of the NNW. Raptor Observations: Best daily totals for the season for Red-tailed and Red-shouldered Hawks. One of the better days for Bald Eagle since September. Northern Harriers put in a fairly strong showing including 7 gray ghosts. All the typical raptors present in small numbers. Non-raptor Observations: Excellent flight of of American Robins and Yellow-rumped Warblers early. Fair numbers of blackbirds included a sprinkling of Rusty Blackbirds. The first Bufflehead of the season were present on Bunker Pond and at least one Eurasian Wigeon was in and out.
