Seawatch - Friday, October 6, 2017

Today's southwest winds will continue for the next several days, making for slow migration.  While today had nearly no scoters or cormorants, a nice flight of Forster's and Royal Terns kept the day busy.  An evening flight of 200 Northern Pintail and two close flyover male Wood Ducks were quite enjoyable.

Slow days are ahead, but when the winds shift Wednesday morning, there should be quite a push of birds!
