Hawkwatch - Wednesday, October 4, 2017

Sustained south winds and sunny skies had today's raptors flying very high in the sky. It was a good day to practice scanning for small specks among the overhead blue sky. With persistent scanning, the day's count was able to break into triple digits as sky-high Sharp-shinned Hawks and Osprey moved through.
