Today was an excellent day at the Seawatch, with strong northeast and east winds. Over 13,000 birds were counted today, with notable pushes of scoters, cormorants, and Laughing Gulls. A smattering of dabbling ducks, 28 Common Loon, some Brant, and a few Common Eider were nice surprises between the flocks of scoters. A single flock of over 1000 cormorants was quite the sight!
