Morning Flight - Friday & Saturday, October 13-14, 2017

It's been a moderate flight of songbirds this past Friday and Saturday despite the non-ideal weather conditions. While Yellow-rumped Warblers are certainly dominating the field, we are still seeing diversity with plenty of Northern Parulas and Palm Warblers as well as a few Blackpoll, Black-and-white, Black-throated Blue, and Cape May warblers.

Remember, you can always check the Trektellen website to see the data at any time. It's a pretty rad site with lots of other migration counts to look at! And because I've had a few people ask, "N" = North-bound birds and "S" = South-bound birds ;)

The weather hasn't been great for photography, but here are a few cuties.
