Observation start time: 05:30:00
Observation end time: 18:00:00
Total observation time: 12.5 hours

Official Counter: Cameron Cox

Observers:

Weather:
Winds light to moderate ranging from the north to west. Mostly cloudy for
much of the day but a break in the clouds in the late morning produced a
bust of birds. It because fully overcast midafternoon and the flight slowed
then a short second burst of birds occurred late afternoon once the clouds
partially clear again.

Raptor Observations:
Ospreys moved in moderate numbers once again. We finally had a late
afternoon falcon flight resulting in our best day for both American Kestrel
and Merlin so far. Two adult male harriers were a pleasant treat.

Non-raptor Observations:
A flock of four Baird Sandpipers that flew past the watch along the dunes
was an unexpected highlight.

Predictions:
Northwest wind are projected for tomorrow hopefully resulting in an
excellent flight.
