Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 10.5 hours

Official Counter: Cameron Cox

Observers:

Weather:
Particularly hot with clear skies. The winds were light and variable
tending towards east in the morning an late west in the afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
We have had little change in the weather over the past week yet small
numbers of birds continue to trickle through. Today there was an uptick in
birds in the afternoon that corresponded with the shift of the winds
towards west. Blue skies hampered the effort as whenever a cloud appeared a
trickle of Sharp-shinned Hawks and a few small falcons were detected at
great height.

Non-raptor Observations:
A Wilson's Snipe on Bunker Pond was the first of the season.

Predictions:
Likely small numbers of hawks will trickle through but the trend of poor
wind and hot temperatures is projected to continue.
