Observation start time: 05:30:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 10.5 hours

Official Counter: Cameron Cox

Observers:

Weather:
100% cloud cover with light east wind for most of the day. Rain, heavy at
times, began at about 1:30 and shut down what had been a reasonable flight
prior. It cleared at 3:30 but few birds moved after the rain.

Raptor Observations:
Kestrels started the day, than Sharp-shinned added to the flight, finally
soon before the rain Osprey started moving.

Non-raptor Observations:
Lots of warblers were flying early particularly American Redstarts and
Northern Waterthrushes. Scarcer highlights include a Canada Warbler and
several Blackpoll Warblers. One Dickcissel flew over and another skulked in
the grass in front of the hawk watch platform.

Predictions:
Predictions for winds to turn west tomorrow. If this occurs early enough
tomorrow could be a reasonably good day.
