Hawkwatch, 3 October 2016

We had a stellar day of hawk migration! Raptors were coming from many directions and heights throughout the day. There was never a quiet moment. By the end of the day over 100 American Kestrels, over 100 Merlin, AND over 100 Peregrine Falcons had flown by. A total of 751 migrating raptors were seen since sunrise. It was an exciting day all-round!
