Today's raptor flight meandered around the northern viewing limits of the Cape May Hawk Watch. Warm southeast winds and sunny skies tested the scanning ability of those wielding binoculars on this beautiful day. A few raptors were seen close up, however counting of the flight could only be seen with the aid of optics. The first-of-the-season Sharp-shinned Hawk migrated by, and a busy show of near and far Osprey stole the show.
Hope to see you at the hawk watch!
