Hawkwatch, 7 November 2016

Nearly half of a thousand raptors migrated past the hawkwatch today. Red-tailed Hawks and Turkey Vultures made up the bulk of the migrants today. Red-shouldered Hawks mixed and mingled with the kettles of Red-tailed Hawks. Two beautiful Golden Eagles were seen today as were two late Broad-winged Hawks!

Tomorrow's forecast calls for sunny skies and mild northwest winds. Bring on the late-season migrants!
