Hawkwatch - Wednesday, September 13, 2017

A beautiful sunrise greeted Ospreys and Merlin looking to depart the Cape May Hawkwatch. An early morning flight of raptors took place before the mid-morning rains came through. With a little bit of scanning, a distant adult light morph Parasitic Jaeger was seen flying over the ocean, well beyond the beach. Visitors were treated to outstanding views of an American Bittern as well as Green Herons throughout the afternoon. See you at the hawkwatch!
