Avalon Seawatch - November 5, 2011

It was another big scoter day at Avalon, though many were quite distant at times. Of the 45,000 birds tallied, nearly 40,000 were scoter. Otherwise there actually wasn't much else of note, but there were plenty of scaup and Green-winged Teal mixed in with the continuous scoter flocks.
