A strong early morning rush of birds past Avalon didn't last long, but was enjoyable, particularly given the number of Red-throated Loons involved. A more "classic" seawatch weather day, in the form of rain showers and an ocean breeze, is anticipated for tomorrow. We'll see how it unfolds.
