Avalon Seawatch - 16 November 2011

Even though there was rain most of the day, the birds birds still flew. In the morning before the heaviest rain started a female King Eider flew past with a male Long-tailed Duck, giving an excellent view. Then about a half hour later two Razorbills flew past and gave an absolutely crippling look! At the end of the day a mixed flock of terns and gulls provided a Black-headed Gull to the tally. So, if you want to brave a rainy day at the Seawatch, it can be very rewarding.
