Temps between 65 and 75 degrees. Raptor Observations: A slow day with the southeast winds; Merlins along the dunes, Ospreys high to the north of the platform, and sharp-shinned hawks in the am. Non-raptor Observations: WHISKERED TERN(1) made very brief appearance on the pond late morning, mainly seen on beach today. Little Blue Heron(2), Green Heron(1), American Wigeon, Northern Pintail, Green and blue winged Teal, Pied-billed Grebe(1). A few large flocks of double-crested cormorants(175). Predictions: Chance of showers early with temps in the mid-70's.
