Wind chills did not reach over 30F all day. Very sunny skies with excellent visibility. Raptor Observations: A pretty good mix for a slower day including harriers, red-tails and red-shoulders. Highlight being a Northern Goshawk making multiple passes by the platform and a Golden Eagle over the northern treeline. Non-raptor Observations: Snow Geese(5), Tundra Swan(7) flying over and (6) on the pond, American Bittern(2) on the pond, Eastern Bluebird(40), Purple Finch, American Pipit(9), Greater Yellowlegs(3), Wilson's Snipe(1), Tree Swallows(300). Predictions: Sunny skies, temps in the mid-40's, winds SW 10-15mph.
