Today was the biggest morning songbird flight of the autumn so far. 7800+
Yellow-rumped Warblers were tallied heading north, mostly within 100 yards of Delaware Bay. Numbers of other warblers were pretty small, but a modest tally of Blackpoll Warblers, Palm Warblers, and Northern Parulas was recorded. A Connecticut Warbler (thanks to Glen Davis) and a Dickcissel provided some uncommon species highlights.
