Today was a great day, with over 15,000 birds tallied. The first big push of Red-throated Loons and Northern Gannets occurred, with 3742 and 1668 respectively. A nice smattering of dabbling ducks, mostly American Black Ducks and Green-winged Teal, were mixed in with a few thousand scoters (mostly Black). Unfortunately many birds were far out and left unidentified.
