It was the day for geese up in Avalon on Tuesday, with over 1,500 Snow Geese and nearly 1,000 Canada Geese tallied all day. Northern Gannets and Red-throated Loons also had a strong day. Also worth noting is the two Cave Swallows and a late-season Barn Swallow that came off the water.
