Morning Flight - 3 September 2012

The flight today was very light with almost no warblers - and little diversity - on the move.  On "off" days, Northern Waterthrushes seem to be the most opportunistic warbler, readily flying despite non-optimal winds.

Today's highlight, like yesterday's, were a pair of Buff-breasted Sandpipers.  The birds flew in shortly after "sunrise" (had the sun been visible after rising) and foraged in the mudflats before eventually taking off for the point.
