Morning Flight - 13 September 2012

It's a strange day when Red-breasted Nuthatches fly in greater numbers (2x even) than anything else.  Without competition, the highlight of the morning was a flock of seven Red-breasted Nuthatches that emerged from the woods at Higbee; but when I looked twice, I noticed that a single warbler was leading the pack - a Connecticut Warbler!  And due to the slow warbler flight, today was probably my personal lifetime best Connecticut Warbler/warbler ratio: 1:25.
