Hawkwatch - Sunday, October 7, 2018

Today's south winds kept most of the migration to our north. Osprey were seen for most of the day, and the evening was packed with many Peregrine Falcons and Merlin! Today we surpassed 5,000 Osprey and 1,000 Peregrine Falcons for the season.

Juvenile Cooper's Hawk.

This Dickcissel was very cooperative today... seen right from the hawkwatch!

This 2nd-year Peregrine zipped by incredibly low, close and right over Bunker Pond!
Today's totals.
See you at the hawkwatch,
Erik Bruhnke
