The combination of rain and unfavorable winds kept raptor movement down all day with the exception of a nice little brief push just before the rains came. The real name of the game today was Bobolinks, as we tallied at least 1,700 coming over through the morning. Pectoral Sandpipers were also seen flying by several times. The cumulative total of individuals seen was 55, with 30 being the most seen at any one time.
