Observation start time: 06:30:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 9.5 hours

Official Counter: Tom Reed

Observers:

Weather:
Chilly with decreasing clouds and increasing winds, particularly during the
afternoon. Winds from the NW throughout, generally 10-15mph during the
morning; 15-25mph during the afternoon, with 30+mph gusts.

Raptor Observations:
Things were slow to get going with the morning overcast, and just never
really improved from there. Even as skies cleared during the afternoon,
gusty winds seemed to stamp out any hopes of a steady flight.

Non-raptor Observations:
Black-headed Gull (1- adult w/ flock of Ring-billed Gulls), Evening
Grosbeak (45), White-winged Crossbill (90), Red Crossbill (8), Cave Swallow
(1), Barn Swallow (2), Pine Siskin (1,200), American Goldfinch (1,500),
American Pipit (225), Purple Finch (350), Horned Lark (2), Blackpoll
Warbler (3), White-rumped Sandpiper (2), Pectoral Sandpiper (1), Lesser
Black-backed Gull (6)

Predictions:
Sunny and breezy; winds from the NW.
