Morning Flight - Monday, November 5, 2018

A brief count was conducted at Morning Flight in the midst of today’s strong east winds and persistent rain. Very little was actively migrating. The two highlights of the morning were a lone drake Bufflehead (my favorite diving duck), and a male Rusty Blackbird that perched for a minute in a nearby tree, allowing for views of their intricate plumage.

As always, you can find our official count totals on Trektellen here, and our complete eBird checklist of the day’s observations here.

Bring on the next day!
