Morning Flight, 27 August 2017

There was another breath of coastal songbird migration with light NNE winds the preceding nighttime.  The winds continued to be light and steady straight through dawn and slow but consistent passage of birds occurred for about 90 minutes.  It had some exciting moments like an Ovenbird going streaking by at nearly our feet!
