Morning Flight Saturday August 28, 2010

This morning was met with another great warbler flight at the Higbee Dike. Highlights include several "first of season" birds at the dike including Palm, Yellow-rumped, and Bay-breasted Warblers, and even a male Cerulean Warbler! Red-breasted Nuthatches are starting to make a serious push, with 20 more today - perhaps it will prove to be another big flight year for that species (other northerners are welcome here too - pass the word). Vince Elia counted the flight today.
