Morning Flight Friday August 27, 2010

High pressure associated with the clearing of a front brought some more northerly winds and another goodly songbird flight today. Diversity was quite good, with 17 species of warblers recorded, including 2 Yellow-throated Warblers, one of which passed very close to observers standing atop the dike. Other highlights include good numbers of Black-throated Blue and Chestnut-sided Warblers.
