Avalon Seawatch, 10 December 2016

 Cold and clear at the Avalon seawatch today with wind that blew from the northwest.  Today we had a fantastic flight of Canada geese! Remember yesterday when we had about 400 and that had been the highest for the season?  Today we had over 7,000! The top three species observed today were Canada geese, black scoter and double-crested cormorant.  

Check out the table below for the full set of data collected today.  Visit us between 8th and 9th street in Avalon, everyday, sunrise to sunset.
