Observation start time: 05:30:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 10.5 hours

Official Counter: Tom Reed

Observers:

Weather:
Sunny and warm. Increasing south winds throughout the day.

Raptor Observations:
A surprisingly good flight given the conditions. Osprey started to move
just before 10:00am, and Kestrels joined them about an hour later. The
flight shut down by mid-afternoon, perhaps caused by an increase in wind
speed from the south.

Non-raptor Observations:
Another decent passerine movement occurred this morning, though it was far
less notable than yesterday's fallout. Highlights included Lark Sparrow
(1), Dickcissel (1), Cape May Warbler (6), Eastern Kingbird (43),
Ruby-throated Hummingbird (11) and several dozen each of American Redstart
and Northern Waterthrush.

Other notables: Black Tern (1), Gull-billed Tern (1), Tricolored Heron
(4), Brown Pelican (14)

Predictions:
One last hot and humid day before a cold front arrives Saturday night.
