Avalon Seawatch - November 15, 2011

The recent theme of mild weather and few birds continued at Avalon today. Red-throated Loons put in a decent showing during the early morning, while Northern Gannets made a brief push during the afternoon. The day's highlights were an American Coot that was seen swimming past, and a flock of 43 Snow Geese which included an abnormally high 41 "blue" geese.
